| An Eskimo group called the Malemiut developed the Alaskan Malamute sled dog. Malamutes have strong builds, plumlike tails, and thick coats that usually are gray and white or black and white. The Alaskan Malamute breed is loyal and friendly and have even served on expeditions to the Antarctic. |
