The German Spitz is extremely rare even in it's home land. They are decendants of Nordic herding dogs and Samoyed. The Toy German Spitz was imported from Pomerania Germany to England over 100 years ago. It was a favorite of Queen Victoria and was also called the Victorian Pom.
