The Great Pyrenees is also known as the Pyrenean Mountain dog. The Great Pyrenees is a massive and muscular dog with a weather resistant coat that allows it to endure harsh climates. This dog is considered an aristocratic relative of the St. Bernard and the Newfoundland.
